A multi-layered energy sensitive construction capable, upon imagewise exposure, of providing both positive and negative reproductions of an image by means of a delamination process and without wet development, comprises a transparent top layer 18, an energy sensitive layer 16 which generates a gas on exposure, a release layer 15, a resinous layer 14 which may contain a colorant and may possess adhesive properties, an optional adhesive layer 12 and an optional base support 10.
