Two hollow blanks fit one inside the other, one being subjected to an operation forming uneven surface portions forming the decoration, particularly on the outer surface, away from the second one. The blanks are then fitted one inside the other again and joined together along the edges. The blanks can be formed by two sheet-metal sections of different thicknesses.
