PURPOSE:To enable the using amount of energy required for air conditioning to be considerably reduced by recirculating the air having passed through the inside of booths to the air conditioning room in the painting booths which carry out painting work while allowing the air having been conditioned in the air conditioner to pass through the same. CONSTITUTION:Fresh outside air 3 is air conditioned in an air conditioning chamber 10, thence it subsequently passes through branch ducts 12 thru 15 from air duct 11 then through air chambers 21, 31, 41, 51 and is supplied to each booth. The air supplied to a cleaning booth 2 carries fine dust, grinding powder, etc. while it is passing the booth and is led to a recirculating duct 23 by a fan 22. It is then cleaned by a filter unit F2 and the entire volume thereof is recirculated to the air conditioner 10. The air supplied to an automatic spray 3 and hand spray 4 is led to exhaust air cleaning chambers 34, 44, where it is wet-scrubbed, after which it is led to recirculating ducts 36, 46. After this air is filtered in filter units F3, F4, it is partly recirculated to the air conditioner 10.
