The support is free to oscillate about its suspension point enabling it to withstand high wind forces. The support (1) is basically circular, the lower edge of the circle being extended (10) to form a rest with two end loops (13) for the cable. A cam (8) having a diameter slightly less than that of the basic element pivots about its centre point and is integral with the suspension arm (2). During oscillation this traps the cable (4) against the inner sawtooth edge of the rest.
