PURPOSE:To provide heat-sensitive recording material in which the development of color due to pressure, such as scratching, is prevented, by providing a pressure- color-proof layer containing alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol group on a heat- sensitive color layer. CONSTITUTION:Heat-sensitive recording material is provided with a heat-sensitive coloring layer which is provided on a support and consists of a colorless or light- color leuco-dye and a coloring agent aonsisting of a phenol or acidic substance. On this coloring layer is provided a pressure-color-proof layer containing an alkylene adduct of bisphenol group, preferably a compound expressed by the formula (A 2- alkylidene of methylene, C3-4; X H, halogen; m 2-4; n 1-5). It is desirable to use the above-described compound together with a water-soluble resin bonding agent. The proper layer thickness is 1-3mu. |
