Grinding mill for cereal grains - has two rolls at different heights with grain feed to highest point of lower roll

A grinding mill roller layout handles grain in a uniform fashion even when operating condition change. The mill is designed to avoid acceleration of the fed-in material due to free fall. The layout consists of fixed roll (1) and movable roll (2). The two rolls rotate in opposite directions. The two rolls are fitted at different heights so that a plane through the axis (4) of roll (1) and the axis (5) of roll (2) enclose with the horizontal an angle alpha which varies within the range of 45 to 60 degrees. The feed of the material to be milled is directed against the highest circumferential point of the lower roll (1) and the rotating roll (1) carries in in an evenly distributed manner to the gap (3).
