Lamp shade frame forming tool - has triangular bodies with arched surface placed on lower press tool

The tool for mass prodn. of shaped wire lamp shade frames is esp. for frames with upwards arched contours. The tool is fitted to the lower part of a press table (10) and consists of a number of triangular bodies (11) on the table in a radial pattern. The apex of each body is at the centre of the pattern, so that a gap remains between two adjacent bodies even at the centre. Each body has a lug on the upper surface which serves as a stop for the wire ring (1). The upper part of the tool has radially positioned ridges distributed so that, when the upper tool is lowered they fit into the gaps between the bodies, and bend the wire ring in the shape of the arc on the triangle bodies.
