PURPOSE:To obtain a printer which is so designed that a roller which is attached to a carrier and an eccentric cam which is in contact with the roller are so arranged that their axes become perpendicular to shifting direction of the inclined carrier so that friction between the roller and the eccentric cam become less and the carrier can move smoothly. CONSTITUTION:A shifting direction A of a carrier 2 and a centerline B of a spring 3 which is pressing the carrier 2 are parallel with each other and inclined at an angle theta. An axis C of a roller 5 attached to the carrier 2 and an axis D of an eccentric cam which is in contact with the roller 5 are perpendicular to a direction A, and as the carrier 2 receives from both sides an equilibrated force with the direction A, it can smoothly shift on a guiderail 10. Pressing direction of the roller 5 by the eccentric cam 9 also becomes the same as the direction A, and rotations of the roller 5 and the cam 9 are relatively free from sliding in up-and-down direction, and therefore, the friction can be reduced. |
