Row of nozzle lamellae, or plates with very accurate profiles, is clamped together between end plates in a frame, which is then suspended in a wax frame. Wax is then poured into the assembly and cast to obtain a desired profile for upper and lower surface (I) which will be employed to direct gas flow. Surfaces (I) are successively electroplates with gold, copper, and finally nickel for electroforming of the nozzle block. Process is suitable for mfg. nozzle blocks with extremely complex shapes.
