The handle end (6) of the brush has a sealing ring (10) which is coaxial with the axis of rotation (19) of the coupling (11) and handle and which engages in a sealing groove (13) which runs round the flow path (14) of the coupling (11). The sealing ring (10) and the sealing groove (13) span sealing faces (15 16) at the handle end (6) which are radial relative to the axis of rotation (19) and plano-parallel to each other. The sealing faces (15, 16) can be raised from each other by an amt. less than the axial length of the sealing ring (10) through relative rotation. Since the sealing ring still engages in the sealing groove of the coupling in the Open position, the cleaning agent cannot leak out between the coupling and brush head. Even in the closed position, the sealing faces firmly adjoin each other to prevent leakage.
