Cab support for articulated vehicle - with cab selectively clamped to front of trailer or onto chassis of tractor unit

The driving cb (6) of the articulated vehicle is attached to the front end of the trailer (8) to ride over the towing unit chassis (1), pivoted with the trailer on the coupling pivot (5). When the trailer is dropped the cab is first lowered onto the chassis and secured. The engine and steering are operated by remote control connections from the cab. The cab attachment to the trailer enables a smoother ride to be obtained. When attached to the chassis the towing unit drives as a separate unit.
