PURPOSE:To enable roll changing to be accomplished accurately and surely by interlocking the spindle of the universal spindle coupling of a rolling roll changing device and the holding mechanism of a roll coupling. CONSTITUTION:The roll coupling 3 of the universal spindle coupling 1 of a rolling roll changing device is connected by the interlocking mechanism which is desengageable from the rolling roll, is supported by a cylinder 18 and support 19 and consists of a spindle 2 supported by a base 23, stopper 22, stanchion 24 and a lever 20 and link 21, whereby its position is maintained. As a result, the defects such as flexing and other in the pin position occuring in pressure leakage such as of cylinders, etc. as with conventional ones are eliminated and the universal coupling may be held accurately in the roll changing position. It is also possible to miniaturize the device. |
