<p>The power unit comprises an IC engine (1) and a evaporator (12). The engine receives fuel (2), oxygen (4) and pressurised water vapour (6) as the working medium. Pressurised cooling water (8) leaving the engine is fed (10) to the evaporator where it evaporates and is then fed (6) into the engine. There may be a re-heater between the evaporator and the engine. A pressure reducer may be arranged in the evaporator. A condenser (20) may be provided which is connected (11) to the engine cylinder whilst a feed water line (27, 8) with pump (28) leads from the condenser to the cooling system of the engine.</p> |
