Flame monitor with on=off switch - generates pulses from flame current for fuel valve actuating solenoid

The flame monitor for a burner flame generates direct current when burner flame exists. The output of the flame detector circuit is connected to a switching system which keeps fuel supply open in presence of flame. The monitor is inherently reliable and safe. A switch is switched periodically off and on. In on state it short circuits the input of the flame detector circuit. This ensures that the control input of the switching system consisting of relay is powered with periodic pulses into the flame effect. The control system current circuit of the switching system relay has a second switch which switches the pulses periodically on and allows passage of the current which switches the switching system on.
