The roofing panels, mounted on a frame, provide inexpensive covering for residential, industrial or agricultural buildings. Each panel (1) has a longitudinal edge for fixture to the frame, and an opposite edge engaging an edge of the next panel, held firmly to prevent movement vertical to the panel plane. These edges are in the form of two types of stem elements (4, 5) protruding from opposite sides, to hold the panel onto the frame (2). The panel also has ribs (7) stretched transversely between the stem elements, for effective load transfer. The second stem element may wholly or partially cover the first stem element of the next panel. In conjunction with a sloar heating system a device for passage of air, or other heat transfer medium, can be incorporated.
|
