Laminated safety glass contains >=1 organic intermediate layers and/or covering films. The plastic material used is a transparent polymer or copolymer in which the chains of the molecules are cross-linked by covalent and ionic bonding. Used for bullet-proof glass, car windscreens, penetration-inhibiting glass and anti-shattering glass, of the glass/plastic/glass type.
