PURPOSE:To obtain the diversity effect by using the vertical and horizontal components of a polarized-wave output, by making it possible to reduce the power consumption by using two direct repeaters of the same shift frequency in a repeater station. CONSTITUTION:In repeater station B, a received wave from a preceding station is branched by hybrid circuit 8 and amplified by amplifier circuits 23 and 24; and it is frequency-converted by mixer circuits 25 and 26 to which shift frequency oscillation circuit 27 is linked and then amplified by amplifier circuits 28 and 29, thereby sending vertical polarized wave 30 and horizontal polarized wave 31 out from antenna 16. In reception station C, vertical polarized wave 32 and horizontal polarized wave 33 received by antenna 17 are added or selected by signal synthesizer circuit 21 by way of receiver circuits 19 and 20 so as to obtain base-band output 22. In this way, using direct repeaters for the radio circuit of a set spare system realizes the reduction in power consumption and the diversity effect can also be obtained. |
