Adsorbent for use in double glazed windows - includes zeolite which adsorbs water, but not nitrogen or oxygen

Double glazed window contains, along the periphery of the enclosed air space, a molecular sieve zeolite (I) which absorbs water but not N2 or O2. Pref. a mixt. of adsorbents is used comprising (I) and a non-zeolitic absorbent (II) which has a hydrocarbon affinity and absorbs benzene from the organic window sealants etc. By not absorbing N2 or O2 pressure fluctuations in the air space are prevented.
