PURPOSE:To provide support for heat-sensitive recording sheet which gives clear images, such that although its heat sensitive layer, consisting of paper and hexgonal kaolin filler is thin, it does not impair the lifetime of a head. CONSTITUTION:Support is made of paper, consisting mainly of: A) pulp made from needle-leaf or broad-leaf trees, B) size such as rosin, C) paper-reinforcing additive such as melamine resin, and D) as filler, hexagonal thin-plate-form kaolin. It is desirable to use 2 to 15 weight parts of kaolin with respect to 100 weight parts of pulp. |
