Composite constructional component prodn. - with sheet copper trough held in mould by vacuum while pouring concrete

The process produces composite constructional components consisting of a trough of thin sheet metal and concrete core. The trough is first inserted in a mould, after which the concrete is poured into it and heated. The trough (12) is of copper sheet, bent over at the top edge (13), by which it is clamped in the mould, being held fast in the latter by vacuum, while its inner face is coated with adhesive before pouring the concrete. After pouring, a liquid or gaseous hearing medium is introduced into the hollow walls of the mould.
