A projectile (84) is described which has unfoldable wings (12) which have at least two wing elements (14, 16) which can be displaced by means of a drive device (48) between a folded-up first position in which they are accommodated in a space-saving manner in the projectile fuselage (10) and a second position where they are folded apart from one another, point away from the projectile fuselage (10) and form the wing profile. In order to ensure a continuously smooth profile surface of the wing profile when the wing (12) is in the second position, all the wing elements carry out a fan-like rotary movement in the same rotation direction about mutually parallel rotation axes (18, 20) while they are folding out from one another. At the same time, at least some of the wing elements (14, 16) carry out a lateral displacement movement in a direction parallel to the associated rotation axis (18, 20), by means of an associated second drive device (76), on reaching or shortly before reaching the folded-out rotation-limit position, until the wing elements (14, 16) are aligned with one another in the profile longitudinal direction of the wing (12). <IMAGE>
