The cover cap is made of plastics and has a peripheral cuff (14) with integral fixing elements and a deformable annular lip (5) projecting radially outwards from the edge of the cuff (14), to rest against the rear of the headlamp housing (1). The bottom wall (10) of the cap, incorporating the electrical connections (9) for the light bulb is made of a relatively soft material, also used for the annular lip (5), the cuff (14) made of a relatively rigid, heat-resistant material e.g. a thermoplastics. USE - For effective sealing against ingress of dust and moisture.
