PURPOSE:To enable recording to be continued even to recording paper of other sizes even if the recording paper of the preset size has been consumed by automatically setting the image magnification control power according to the recording magnification display signal. CONSTITUTION:When the recording paper of each size having been set in the recorder becomes less than the preset quantity, the specified signal is outputted from a paper detector 32. This signal and the signal indicating the preset recording size are then supplied to a logic arithmetic unit 33. The unit 33 generates the signal an indicating one of the sizes of the recording paper existing at more than the preset quantity and the signal b indicating the recording magnification at which the images of the preset recording size are recorded within said size, substitutes the signals a and b with the outputs of a recording size setter 48 and recording magnification setter 43 respectively and output these as the recording size display signal and recording magnification display signal, thereby automatically setting the image magnification control system. |
