<p>PURPOSE:To enable stable horizontal orientation effect to be obtained on conductive films and plastic substrates by using high polymer material having amide bonds as an orientation treatment film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film 2 composed of In2O3 containing a small amount of Sn is vacuum evaporated on transparent plastic substrates 1. A solution of low melting point nylon of less than 150 deg.C in melting point is coated and dried on this plastic panel and is further heated and baked at a temperature of 150 deg.C or under. Next, the panel surfaces are lightly rubbed with a cotton cloth or the like, whereby orientation treatment films 5 are formed. Thereafter, liquid crystal 4 of nematic type is sealed via sealing agent 3 between two sheets of the substrates 1.</p> |
