<p>PURPOSE:To simplify structure to facilitate making a magnetic recording and reproducing device small-size by giving a back tension to the magnetic tape inside a cassette and arranging properly main mechanism elements on the cassette mounting face. CONSTITUTION:After a cassette is mounted, tape 28 is wound around tape guide drum 40 by tape leading-out pins 44, 46, 44' and 46'. Next, pinchroller 68 is compression-bonded to capstan 58 in side-face aperture part 34 of cassette case 10, and the running drive of tape 28 is performed for recording or reproducing. Meanwhile, tape 28 is compression-bonded to felt pad 37 by tape compression-bonded jig 78 in side-face aperture part 36 of cassette case 10, and a back tension is given. By this constitution, the gap between tape guide drum 40 and cassette case 10 can be made narrow to facilitate making the device small-size.</p> |
