PURPOSE:A medical capsule capable of triggering the variation of the internal conditions, e.g. pH, till the passage through the pylorus, and operating with a timer thereafter, without requiring external observation. CONSTITUTION:The change of internal conditions, particularly pH change in the stomach, till the passage through the pylorus is detected by a unit, and the signal operates the timer. The drive unit is operated to take samples after the set time, or a drug is fed into the body due to the proportional relationship between the time and the distance. The timer is set to operate the timer in the order of pH >=6, <=6, and >=6. The circuit constructed from a C-MOSIC compacts the whole caspule and improves the reliability. |
