<p>METHOD OF PRODUCING MORPHOLINE COMPOUND (D#75,009-3-F) An improved process for producing a morpholine compound is disclosed which comprises the steps of contacting an aminoalkoxyalkanol compound with a catalytically effective amount of a phosphorus-containing substance at a temperature of from about 250.degree.C to about 350.degree.C under a pressure sufficient to maintain the mixture essentially in liquid phase, said aminoalkoxyalkanol compound having the formula: wherein each R, independently, is hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical, and R' is hydrogen, an alkyl radical, a substituted alkyl radical, an aryl radical, or a substituted aryl radical; and. recovering said morpholine compound.</p> |
