PURPOSE:To decrease the maximum value of impact noise by positioning the center of a piston pin eccentrically on the anti-thrust side for the shaft center of a piston and allowing the impact noises in exhaust and intake stroke to be nearly equal. CONSTITUTION:On a piston 1, a piston pin 4 is arranged eccentrically by a on the anti-thrust side from the shaft center Ax, and the thick parts 1a and 1b thicker than the thrust side are formed on the anti-thrust side of the piston 1, and thus, the center of gravity G of the piston 1 is positioned close to right above the center 0 of the piston pin 4. Owing to such constitution, the impact noise in explosion stroke of the piston depends on a thrust force R and an inertia force Fi, and as the moment around the center 0 of the piston pin due to the inertia force Fi is nearly zero, the moment M can be reduced, and impact noise can be suppressed. |
