The passage can discharge in the body near the bristle roots, and the handle can be a resilient tube, compressed by hand, there being a non-return valve in the passage, shutting in the direction of the reservoir. The passage can lead to one or more bristles of diameter such as to transport the cleaning agent by capillary action.
