<p>Novel compounds of the general formula: <IMAGE> in which is an integer from 1 to 3, R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R3 represents a lower alkyl group and R5 represents a primary alcohol protecting group, are prepared by reacting an unsaturated derivative to an excess of the corresponding nitrile with the simultaneous addition of sulphuric acid. <IMAGE></p> |
