The stackable folding carton made from a sheet of corrugated board, hard board or soft plastics is for the storage and transport of perhisable goods such as fruit and vegetables. The folding carton consists of a base section, two sides and two end sections each and with reinforcement straps connected to the small sides of the end section. The base of the folding carton has a fold which produces a ledge corresponding to about the length and width of the base.
