<p>A laser light and optical fibre system is in close matrix form for exposing sensitised material with a colour emulsion. It is suitable for printing plate prodn. esp. of titles and advertising slogans. Each colour uses a separate optical fibre and the intensity is individually controllable. At the end of the fibre bundle is a lens to focus the colour produced. Each laser (1, 2, 3) has its own light beam (4, 5, 6) fed into a modulator (7, 8, 9), e.g. a Pockel cell, and into a polarising fiber (10, 11, 12). The output of each laser equipment is fed into a fibre bundle (131, 132, 133, and 141, 142, 143 and 151, 152, 153) so that each colour is formed as a matrix at the output of the bundle (16) for focussing by the lens (17).</p> |
