METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FOAMING RESIN MOLDING

PURPOSE:To manufacture said moldings with an irregular pattern which do not cause any camber after molding by equipping irregular radiating ribs on the outside surface of an upper metallic mold and keeping the radiating quantity of the upper mold nearly in equibrium with the quantity radiated to the outside through the lower metallic mold with an irregular pattern. CONSTITUTION:Foaming resin compound 2 is impregnated into a lower metallic mold with an irregular pattern in its inside and an upper metallic mold 3 is placed on the lower mold. On the external surface 4 of the upper mold 3 are equipped irregular radiating ribs 5 in order that the thermal quantities radiated through the upper mold 3 and the low mold 1 to the outside when the compound 2 foams and hardens can be kept nearly in equibrium. When a nearly flat foam resin molding 6 with an irregular pattern is taken out of the molds the face in touch with the upper mold 3 does not elongate and annealing process for protection of shrinkage is not required.
