PURPOSE:To provide a pressure sensitive copy paper which can climinate sanitary and fire problems resulting from the use of a volatile solvent by providing a dyestuff contained micro capsule on the surface of the lower sheet of paper and a developer contained wax on the back surface of the upper sheet of paper. CONSTITUTION:On the back surface of the substrate sheet 1 is provided a layer 3 comprising a wax (for example, wood wax) preferably having a melting point of 30-110 deg.C and a developer (preferably a phenol system hydroxyl contained compound) solved or diffused into the wax so as to form an upper sheet of paper A. On the surface of the substrate sheet 2 is provided a layer 4 comprising a micro capsule 5 of a nonvolatile solvent containing a pressure sensitive dyestuff such as Rhodamine-B lactam and a nonactive pigment 6 so as to form a lawer sheet of paper B. These sheets of paper constitute a desired pressure sensitive copy paper. It is preferable for the capsule 5 to impregnate a ultraviolet ray absorbing agent of the benzophenon system. |
