The container in which components of the mixt. are stored, forming the second chamber of a two-chamber syringe, has an elastic stopper. This has a centrally positioned weak zone formed by a membrane, and is sealed in place by a flanged-over cap with a central opening aligned to the membrane. The syringe has a bottom fitting with a tapering stem on which there is a locking ring for engagement with a sealing cap or with a cannula. When the container is pushed on the stem, the ring locks temporarily into the centralising recess of the container cap. Provision is thus made for keeping separate two constituent mixts. until they are required for injection, without an expensive design and details which have to be produced very accurately.
|
