The outlet section is intended for an after-burner for combustion engine exhaust gas having at least partial air cooling as in 2329824. The gas emerges from an outlet chamber to enter into a number of small-dia. cooling tubes which may be cooled by moving air. This cooling air flow is obtained by arranging the tubes in an area of whirling air currents between a vehicle wing and the normally rotating wheel. An internal cooling tube may be arranged in the chamber and have its inlet and outlet arranged in the direction of travel and provided with silencing unit.
