Cylinder lock with paired tumbler plates - is operated by key with actuating ridge faces on both sides

The cylindrical core is used for a cylinder lock with tumbler plates. The latter are moved in pairs side by side in the radial plane by a ridged key. The key has actuating sloping faces for actuating inclined faces of a tumbler plate pair. These lifting faces slope towards each other forming a roof ridge profile. The actuating faces (34) of tumbler plates (31) in each pair have inclined faces which match this ridge profile of the key. The ridge profiles are machined into both flat key edges.
