<p>A method of measuring throughput in a flow channel is partic. suitable for flow regulation. It enables the corres. device to encompass a wide range of volumetric throughput per unit time and of the characteristics of the fluid mechanism. The measurement device consists of a flap or plate valve (24) with a characteristic response against throughput which is less than a linear response over at least part of the range. The valve position corresp. to a number of flow paths distributed across the channel cross-section.</p> |
