Device for determining the setting time of thermosetting mixtures has thermocouples which produce during setting process electric signals transmitted to a max. value memory which on registering the max. temp. value switches on an electric stop watch. Used with plaster of Paris or single or multiple mixtures based on unsatd. polyester resins or polyurethane. Device permits of rapid and accurate (within a few secs.) measurement of mixt. setting times. Indicated time and max. temp. are displayed continuously until cancelled by the operator.
