Slats are vertically aligned, horizontally displaceable and able to swivel together about their longitudinal axis, with motor drive on the venetian blind. Switching over from the horizontal movement switch position to the swivel one, and vice versa involves a blind component acting on a switch transmission gear unit via a switching dlever and switch bar as in the main patent. Here the tipping lever (6) is designed so that it can take up two stable tilt positions. It can have an extension (12) at its pivot (11), combining with one or more springs (14), to provide a dead centre point to be overcome in the tilt movement. This ensures precise fixation of the coupling in both switch settings.
