Novel compounds having the structural formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 is hydrogen, i-propyl, phenyl or a substituted phenyl having the structure <IMAGE> wherein R2 is halogen, methoxy, lower alkyl, nitro, trifluoromethyl, acetamido, or sulfonamido and their acid addition salts, are useful for treatment of cardiovascular disorders such as cardiac arrhythmia, hypertension, and angina pectoris. Methods for preparation and use of these compounds are described. |
