PURPOSE:To simplify the assembly of a module and to reduce the thickness of the same by forming battery receiving holes in the upper and lower sides of the back of a module frame and by fixing a substrate at the front thereof with a click which is provided at the side of the module frame. CONSTITUTION:A module frame 1 made of a synthetic resin has its back formed in its upper and lower sides with battery receiving holes 5 and 6. A substrate 2 made of a rectangular ceramic plate is provided at the center of the front of the frame 1, i.e., between the holes 5 and 6. There are fixed to the substrate an electrooptical display element 3 and a crystal oscillator 4. The substrate 2 is fixed together with the terminals 18 and 19, which are connected with the electrodes of a battery, merely by being retained by a click 10 of the module frame 1. The switch contacts 25 and 26 constituting the switch are also fixed merely by retaining a metal member 23 with the use of a screw 24. Moreover, the batteries 20 and 21 are also fixed merely by moving a holding fixture 22. |
