<p>Prodn. of a highly active and highly voluminous Ca hypochlorite (I) or bleaching powder mixt. in conjunction with MgO and colloidal silica (II), for the prodn. of a detoxicating agent for the decontamination of chemical warfare agents, involves milling and mixing a mixt. of MgO powder with a particle size of 3-10 mu m and (I) with a particle size of 10-200 mu m in a rotary milling aggregate until the particle size of (I) is ca. 10-25 mu m, the particle size of the MgO being maintained. A prod. with a bulk density of ca 400 g/l is obtd. The (I) powder is covered with electrostatic MgO by the 'cover-coating' principle, which makes the powder hydrophobic and hence highly stable.</p> |
