High speed modular flight safety target finder - uses microprogrammable processor with radar signal correlators and register bank

A modular target finding system for flight safety applications has primary and secondary radar sections. It ensures extremely rapid and reliable processing of the data generated during the target finding process. The target finding systems consist of modules each contg. an input stage, a programmable microprocessor, and an output stage, and of a primary and secondary correlator consisting of a programmable microprocessor section and output unit. The programmable microprocessor sections are combined in a microprogrammable processor of extremely high speed having an arithmetic and logic unit and connected via highways to a register bank.
