摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the response and accuracy of ignition time control, by changing the delayed quantity of ignition time when the knocking of an engine is higher than a reference level and the ignition time needs to be delayed. CONSTITUTION:Only the oscillatory component of knocking frequency is picked up by a band-pass filter 3 from the detection output of a knocking sensor 1 for detecting the knocking of the engine. A knocking level discrimination circuit 7 generates a signal corresponding to the difference between the oscillatory component and a reference signal produced by a function generator 6. The discrimination of the knocking level, calculation and storage are performed for four cylinders #1-#4. Four ignitions are handled as one large cycle. The ignition times of the cylinders are regulated by ignition time control voltages calculated and stored in sample hold circuits 12-#1-12-#4 at the previous time. |
