<p>PURPOSE:To scheme to improve combustion and acceleration characteristic by installing a blower driven by an independent power source and allowing said blower to operate in a low output range of a diesel engine equipped with a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:Onto the intake air concentrated pipe 7 of a cylinder 8, a supercharger blower 2 is installed, and onto an exhaust air concentrated pipe 9, a superchargher turbine 10 is installed, and the air pressurized by the blower 2 is introduced as combustion air into the cylinder 8 through a cooler 11. Between the cooler 11 and the blower 2, is opened an injector 13 to which the compression air from other blower 12 is introduced through an automatic valve 15. The automatic valve 15 is opened in a low output range of the engine, and because the compression air from the blower 12 is introduced as auxiliary air, the reduction of output of the engine can be prevented.</p> |
