The transport system comprises a platform (1) with a first level (3) for use by passengers, and a second one (4) for railless vehicles (7, 8), while a railway carriage (2) with solar power units (23) accommodates the passengers on the top deck (15), which is connected via an intermediate onee (14) to the lower one (16) for the vehicles. The second level of the platform has parking places (9) with positioning systems (13) for the goods vehicles, which are guided without drivers from them by cables into loading positions (33) on the bottom deck. ADVANTAGE - An existing system can be used for both passenger and vehicle transport.
