PURPOSE:To reduce maintenance cost and misoperation and to maintain high picture quality by setting a series of procedures for adjustments regarding copy density to diagnosis and making a full or half-automatic subsystem check. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a self-diagnostic means 06 which adjusts a recording device main body 07, a start means 04 which actuates the self-diagnostic means, and a mode setting means 05 for setting the mode of the self-diagnostic means. Further, the self-diagnostic means has a reference toner image developing potential part formation remote setup part 061 a photosensitive material clean surface density output setup part 062, and an ADC control point setup part 063. A remote setup for forming a reference toner image developing voltage part, a photosensitive material clean surface density output setup, and an ADC control point setup can therefore be made, and an ADC can be adjusted fully automatically or half-automatically. Consequently, the man-hours of the adjustment is decreased, and the maintenance cost and misoperation are reduced. |
