PURPOSE:To lower the resistance value of transparent conductive films which form signal lines by connecting exposed low-resistance thin metallic films electrically in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The color filter for LCD is deposited and formed with the plural low-resistance thin metallic films 22 having apertures corresponding to picture element electrodes 13 to plural band shapes. Island-shaped colored layers 16 of the size at which the thin films 22 are exposed are deposited and formed on the periphery to completely cover the apertures 21 and thereafter, the signal lines 23 consisting of the band-shaped transparent conductive films 24 inclusive of the colored layers 16 and the low-resistance thin metallic films 22 on the periphery are deposited and formed. The resistance value of the transparent conductive films 24 forming the signal lines is thereby lowered as the exposed thin films 22 are connected in electrically parallel. |
