PURPOSE:To make it possible to suck heavy dust while effectively using electric power of a power source with small capacity by a method wherein a control device is controlled to increase the supply power to a motor as well as the suction force of a fan by depressing a main body case movable vertically to a cleaning surface. CONSTITUTION:When dust collector (brushes) 27 are contact on a table T and the like, and slid, the dust on the table is sucked from an inlet 20 and held into a dust compartment 23, after a main body case 1 is held by the hand and a motor 7 is started. For heavy dust existing on the table, an operating rod 35 is lifted by the upper surface of a base plate 26 and a switch 36 is turned on when the main body case 1 is lowered as it is. In this case, the heavy dust is sucked by strong suction force since a control device 38 is short-circuited, and the supply power to the motor 7 is increased, and then the rotation speed of a fan 9 is increased. On the other hand, when the passage of the air sucked into the inlet 20 is made smaller by the case 1 being lowered, stronger suction force is obtained since an air flow speed becomes higher. |
